GABRIEL DUNN, MD
Physician & Founder
Gabriel Dunn, MD, a native of Grand Haven, is a board-certified family medicine physician and owner of Abiding Health Concierge Medicine in his hometown. It was out of his faith in Christ that he decided to pursue medicine, driven by a God-inspired love of people and science. He earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency through Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners. For over a decade, he has practiced highly reviewed full-spectrum family medicine in West Michigan caring for patients of all ages.
Dr. Dunn is dedicated to truly listening to each patient, fostering meaningful communication, and creating care plans that reflect their goals. He brings a deep passion for root cause evaluation and holistic care to his practice, blending the best of traditional Western medicine with lifestyle-based strategies. His comprehensive approach emphasizes physical activity, nutrition, prevention, and advanced testing to promote long-term longevity and vitality, while ensuring his care plan incorporates mental health and spiritual well-being as foundational pillars of true wellness.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dunn adores his wife and four kids and loves spending time with them. He remains active in his community and church, and enjoys playing sports and board games, watching movies, and sharing good food with family and friends. His mission is to glorify God through the use of his skills, abiding with patients through life's journey, fostering holistic health, purpose, and longevity.
ALI DUNN, BSN, FNP
Practice Manager
Ali Dunn, a native of Grand Haven, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Calvin College. After their undergraduate degrees, Ali and Gabe got married and relocated to Saint Louis, where Ali completed her Nurse Practitioner Degree at Saint Louis University while Gabe pursued his medical degree.
Ali possesses a comprehensive clinical perspective and deep empathy for patients of all ages, built on over a decade of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and several prior years as a hospital-based nurse.
As Practice Manager of Abiding Health Concierge Medicine, Ali balances her administrative duties with her role as a devoted mother. She brings her diverse clinical and administrative skillset to partner with Dr. Dunn, carry out selected clinical tasks, and ensure that every patient experience is warm, well-organized, and personalized.
Ali anticipates this new chapter with both gratitude and excitement, trusting in God's guidance and work to bring Him glory through this next phase of her life and practice.
KATHY, LPN
Licensed Practical Nurse
She has been a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse since graduating from Muskegon Community College in 1980, bringing over 40 years of experience in compassionate patient care. She began her career at Hackley Hospital, where she served for nine years, before continuing her work at Harborwood Family Medicine (now Trinity Health) for many years.
Throughout her career, she has been passionate about caring for others, building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, and walking alongside them in their healthcare journey. She feels especially grateful to be part of Abiding Health, a faith-based practice where each day begins in prayer and a shared commitment to serving others with purpose and compassion.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young grandchild, as well as reading, gardening, and hiking.
